In Patchwork by Mail, you will make a Scrappy Sampler Quilt, using 9 blocks, tramlines and a multi pieced border.
The course runs over 10 lessons and is designed for people who would like to learn patchwork but are unable to attend classes. It is suitable for the beginner or the more advanced patchworker.
In each of the first 9 lessons you will receive full instructions for 3 blocks. From these you choose one for your quilt, draw the block to size, make templates and then make up the block in the fabrics provided (in your choice of colour wave). You can then send your work to me for comment (optional). The 10th lesson is about putting the quilt together and quilting it. Throughout the course there will be lots of tips and shortcuts.
Cost: $35.00 per month for 10 months (includes postage within Australia).
A starter equipment pack is also available for $20.00. This includes 1 x sheet of template plastic, sand paper board, 2 x sheets graph paper, retractable pencil, ruler, eraser, ¼" seam maker.
