GENERAL SEWING - This class covers all aspects of sewing. The student will learn to sew the garment or article of their choice with supervision and guidance. This can be anything from clothng to curtains, patchwork to getting the most from your overlocker.
Suitable for the beginner or advanced sewer.
Every Tuesday 9am - 3.30pm and 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
KIDS LEARN TO SEW - Dressmaking, patchwork, cushions and bags are some of the things covered in these classes. The girls learn how to prepare patterns, measuring, correct cutting, how to use a sewing machine and more. This class has now been split into 2 groups
Juniors 10-13 years - Tuesday and Wednesday 6th and 7th April,
Teens 14 years and older - Thursday and Friday 8th and 9th April
9am - 2.30pm
MOTHER & DAUGHTER SEWING -
This class is for mothers and daughters that would like to learn to sew together. Minimum age 10 years.
Thursday - 11th and 25th February,
11th and 25th March, 22nd April,
13th and 27th May, 10th and 24th June -
6.30pm - 9.30pm
SEWING AT THE SHOP -
Join in on the Thursday workshops with Therese at Gunnedah Fashion Fabrics. You can work on your UFO’s or start something new, with all the help and guidance you need.
Held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.

JELLY ROLLS OR LAYER CAKES -
Make a quilt top using jelly rolls/country cuts or layer cakes/country slices. 3 quilts to choose from, pattern supplied. Morning, afternoon teas and lunches supplied.
(Country Cuts and Country Slices are the same as Jelly Rolls and Layers Cake but are made up using country coloured fabrics, these are available exclusively from Gumnut Gear).

MYSTERY QUILT WEEKEND -
Come and join in on the fun of a Mystery Quilt. Arrive to find your fabrics ready to go, following the step by step instructions with Therese and you will end up with a lovely surprise. (Fabrics are arranged prior to the day and can be pre cut for you or you may prefer to cut your own).
Morning, afternoon tea and lunch supplied.

MIX & MATCH SATURDAYS -
Finish a UFO or start something new, the choice is yours. Have a lovely sewing and chatting with all the help you need right at hand. Nothing is a problem so bring it along.
